Buttock Augmentation

Buttock Impants (also called Gluteal Augmentation) is one way for an individual to enlarge and re-shape the buttock.

Procedure:

Under anesthesia, a short vertical incision is made in the buttock crack just above the tail bone. Dr. Warfel uses this single incision to insert a silicone implant under the gluteal muscle of each side. This sub-muscular procedure is used as it has the least potential for complications compared to other methods other methods. This procedure will fill out and round out a deflated flat buttock.

Recovery:

Although walking around is encouraged After Buttock implants, patients must rest on their side and belly and avoid lying or sitting directly on the implants for the first 2 weeks. A compressive garment should be worn for 3 weeks.
